JACKON Insulation has optimized its JACKODUR Atlas system. This solution, combining thermal insulation and formwork, was designed for slabs in low-energy, passive, and positive-energy houses. Now equipped with tongue and groove design, JACKODUR Atlas guarantees greater stability and offers high insulation performance, high compressive strength, and rapid installation.

A house's foundation is the key element for successful insulation. JACKODUR Atlas provides optimal insulation without thermal bridges. The formwork and side elements, fixed together by simple interlocking, form a solid frame into which the perimeter insulation panels are inserted. Insulation and formwork are completed in a single step. This patented assembly system saves considerable time during installation. In addition to speeding up installation, the combined use of thermal insulation and formwork reduces labor costs.

High compressive strength and easy fitting

JACKODUR Atlas is an extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation material with a lambda of up to 0,035 W/(m K). The formwork elements, installed around the edge of the slab, are also load-bearing and have high compressive strength to withstand heavy loads. JACKODUR Atlas consists of various elements: corner products, side panels, surface fittings, and formwork. The simple interlocking installation ensures high-quality joints and therefore enhanced insulation without thermal bridges.

Insulation without thermal bridge

Made from extruded polystyrene foam (XPS), JACKODUR Atlas is water-repellent, rot-proof, and therefore ideal for use in damp areas in contact with the ground. With a thickness of 100 to 320 mm, this system anticipates future standards. It allows all constructions to be carried out in compliance with EN 13164 and Passive House standards. The formwork elements are available for slab thicknesses of 200, 250, and 300 mm.
