JACKON Insulation strengthens its distribution network in France

Jackon Insulation, a German-based manufacturer of high-end insulation materials and building panels, is expanding its business activities and aiming for greater awareness in France.

Present on the French market since 2001, Jackon has been expanding its presence since 2005, focusing its efforts on materials trading and specialist retailers in sanitary ware and tiling.

Effective customer relationship management, frequent specialized seminars, and good product value have enabled Jackon to gain market share in France in recent years. The company actively participates in the standards development process. An engineer participates in the evolution of regulations and contributes to the work of various professional association working groups, including the publication of a professional recommendations text for the insulation of buried walls. This text is the first reference for this essential application for achieving the energy savings objectives. The company also specializes in advising architects, engineers, and design offices and is a partner of the association La Maison Passive France.

Four sales managers serving architects and dealer resellers

The Jackon distribution network in France covers four major regions: North, East, South, and West, each with a sales manager. Working closely with specialist dealers and resellers, they offer technical advice during construction projects. A sales director handles coordination.

Jackon is also active in the B2B sector thanks to a fifth specialized sales manager. Extruded polystyrene foam is used in door panels and refrigerated vehicles, among other things. Expansion of this business is planned.

Jackoboard: Number 1 in sales for the Jackon group in 2010

The Jackoboard construction panel system for kitchens, bathrooms, and wellness areas accounted for the largest share of sales last year. These panels are made of extruded polystyrene rigid foam coated on both sides with a special coating and a fiberglass fabric. The individual elements to be assembled are thus stable, solid, insulating, and durable. Lightweight, impervious to water, and able to be tiled directly, they are ideal for both bathroom renovations and new builds. Jackon organizes one to two weekly training sessions for its Jackoboard range.

50 major projects with Jackodur Atlas in 2011

Jackon's flagship products, such as multi-layer panels, the Jackodur Atlas combined insulation and formwork system, and drainage panels, were very successful in 2010. Jackodur Atlas is an intelligent peripheral insulation system for the construction of passive or BBC houses, which eliminates thermal bridges and is as easy to install as assembling Lego.

Jackon Insulation is present in France on major projects in the fields of exterior insulation, flat roofs (inverted roofs), and passive house construction. This year, 50 construction projects involving Jackodur Atlas have been completed or are underway, compared to 15 in 2010.
