Jean-Marc BERG has been appointed President of fischer France, the subsidiary of the German group fischer, world leader in fastening systems.

After 12 years spent in the French subsidiary of the Fischer group, where he successively occupied the positions of Technical Marketing Director and OEM Industry, Deputy General Manager and General Manager in 2018, Jean-Marc BERG was appointed, on October 1, 2018 , as the new President of fischer France. He succeeds Thierry CHAMAILLARD, who claimed his retirement rights the same day.
Trained at the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon, Jean-Marc BERG began his career as a Specification Engineer and then joined the fischer group in 2006. His career progression within fischer, the various positions he held, and the varied missions he was able to carry out over the years, have allowed him to acquire broad skills. Managing the technical department, the design office, and the sales and marketing teams have allowed him to be in contact with customers and distribution partners to better identify and meet their needs. Aged 44, Jean-Marc BERG has acquired solid experience, has demonstrated his human and management qualities, as well as his commitment to customers, distributors, and his teams.
His mission is to strengthen the links between the company, distributors and professional users, to continue the digitalization of fischer technical solutions, to develop related product and service offerings that will complement the nylon, mechanical and chemical fastener offering, to increase the presence of fischer solutions in large companies, while continuing to focus on investment in R&D and innovations, which have been the spearhead of fischer for years.
