Environmentally friendly, KEIM MYCAL is a mineral, biocide-free system designed to effectively prevent mold.

KEIM MYCAL: PRODUCTS ADAPTED TO LONG-TERMLY TREAT MOLD

Mold is an increasingly common cause of home damage. It spreads in the form of spores and attaches itself to interior walls.
In the event of significant concentrations of mold, major health problems for residents can arise and cause numerous illnesses (respiratory tract, allergies, skin irritations, infections, etc.).
Mold-related problems (humidity being the main factor) require a detailed environmental analysis, treatment of the causes, and preventive measures (airing and ventilating rooms being the most effective). The essential condition for remediation is to eradicate the cause to prevent the mold from reappearing. Sustainable remediation involves combating the cause and repairing the damage.

THE KEIM MYCAL RANGE: EFFECTIVELY SANITIZE AND PREVENT FOR A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

KEIM Mycal-Fix (spore fixer) : The main risk factor during remediation is the dispersion of spores into the ambient air. To prevent this, KEIM has developed KEIM Mycal-Fix. This spore fixer is a silicate-based mineral treatment that fixes mold and prevents the spread of spores in the air. It must be applied before mold removal.

KEIM Mycal-Ex (mold destroyer) : Destruction of spores is an important step, meticulous cleaning is essential. KEIM Mycal-Ex is a water-based destructor for treating contaminated interior walls. Chlorine- and solvent-free, odorless, Mycal-Ex contains a powerful oxidizing agent and offers a safe, environmentally friendly alternative to other chlorinated products and biocides. The walls are now ready to be painted.

KEIM Mycal-Top (sanitation paint) : To repaint walls after treatment, KEIM offers Mycal-Top interior mineral paint, a silicate remediation paint that acts as a preventative against mold. Until now, the products available on the market required a choice between conventional anti-mold paints with poor hygrothermal properties or high-performance mineral paints that did not have specific properties against mold. Mycal-Top is now the new benchmark: its strong moisture-regulating and moisture-wicking power helps keep walls dry and limits mold growth. Its high alkalinity prevents any new spores from appearing. In addition, its mineral composition and the presence of an antimicrobial agent do not constitute a favorable culture medium for mold. Mycal-Top paint is also anti-allergenic and washable. All these qualities give KEIM Mycal-Top exceptional performance. They have been the subject of various test reports issued by recognized technical laboratories such as the MPA Institute in Bremen, Germany. Its implementation is very easy and dries quickly!

KEIM MYCAL: SOLUTIONS FOR ALL CASES

For rooms that are heavily contaminated or have conditions conducive to mold growth, KEIM also offers a special lime plaster, KEIM MYCAL-Por, and calcium silicate mineral boards, called KEIM MYCAL-CS. These products have moisture-regulating properties and provide additional insulation for interior walls.
