The ERLUS roof product range is certified against hail
Climate change is causing a significant increase in extreme weather events such as heavy rain and hailstorms.
Weather resistance
The damage caused by hail is increasingly significant, especially in summer, but its impact can be significantly reduced by using more resistant building materials. ERLUS has developed a range of hail-certified tiles, which are complemented by numerous aluminum accessories that are also weather-resistant.
High-quality building materials protect properties from damage caused by weather conditions. The Institute for Fire Protection and Safety Research (IBS Linz) has tested the hail resistance of the ERLUS range of products. The result is clear: the clay roof tile range achieves at least hail resistance class 4 (RG4). This is equivalent to a hailstorm with hailstones four centimeters in diameter.
The tile E 58 PLUS is particularly robust. A true bestseller in Europe, it achieved an RG2015 score in the hail resistance test in 5. This exceptional result confirms the great stability and robustness of ERLUS roofing products.

The aluminum accessory system in perfect harmony with the roof
Air extractor, roof circulation tile, antenna mast passage or even solar panel support: the accessories ALU ERLUS are made of cast aluminum. This material is extremely resistant to corrosion. Its strength has been tested by the Institute for Fire Protection Technology and Safety Research (IBS Linz) and has reached hail resistance class 5.
All ALU ERLUS accessories are dimensionally stable, even when exposed to high temperatures or heavy loads (ice, snow). The modular construction system is easy to store, transport, and install. Finally, its durability is exemplary: if the roof ever needs to be demolished, each element can be easily dismantled and recycled.
