The new range of FSB handles

Architecture is an integral part of FSB's DNA. For this reason, the German manufacturer maintains a special relationship with selected architects. They create and design highly acclaimed door handle ranges for the brand, embodying miniature architecture.

C + V Line (FSB 1259/1257) by Hartmut Weise

Designer Hartmut Weise wondered how FSB ASL®, the new standard in adapters, works. His answer is expressed through the design of the new FSB lever handles "C-Line" (FSB 1259) and "V-Line" (FSB 1257). Once the rosettes are attached to the door, the handles can be installed on the FSB ASL® adapter. The concave design of these two models is striking both visually and functionally. Its continuous front groove provides ergonomic guidance. The specific tactile appeal of the C-Line and V-Line Kontur lines can be personalized with new surfaces in natural aluminum or anodized colors.

FSB 1185 by Andreas Heupel

The aim of the "Folded" project (FSB 1185) was to conceptualize the diverse requirements of a family of lever handles. Like sheet metal that can be folded multiple times, the flattened appearance of the lever handle precisely adheres to the stringent requirements of building codes (tubular frame doors) and EN/DIN standards. The standard lever handle has a single fold at the transition from the neck to the handle. The more complex lever handle, for tubular frame emergency exit closures, has four folds. FSB 1185 is used on standard doors or on emergency exit closures (FSB 1085). This range is complemented by a frame door lever handle and a window handle.

FSB 1135 by Christoph Mäckler 

The FSB 1135 lever handle set by Christoph Mäckler is ideal for renovation or restoration projects on older buildings. The understated elegance of this set adds character to any door, particularly thanks to its distinctive backplate. The matching window handle on a rosette with exposed screws further enhances this original design concept.

FSB 1242 by John Pawson

British architect John Pawson has revisited one of the most famous crutches of modernism: Hans Poelzig's Empire-shaped crutch. He breathes new life into it with his sketch, crafted in noble FSB 1242 bronze.

Modified many times over a period of almost a century, the idea of an oval handle section, pleasant to the hand, has been reinterpreted here by John Pawson. The result is a perfectly proportioned bespoke creation. FSB 1243 offers a variant approved for emergency exit closures according to EN 179. The range is completed by tubular frame door handles, with or without return, window handles and a new fitting for sliding doors.
