The roof of one of the buildings in the DARWIN ecosystem in Bordeaux
topped with Rexolatte panels from Unilin Insulation
It is for their thermal and acoustic qualities and their speed of installation that Unilin Insulation's Rexolatte panels were chosen to cover the roof of one of the buildings in the DARWIN ecosystem in Bordeaux.
Intended to house open-plan offices upstairs, one of DARWIN's buildings was renovated using Rexolatte roof panels made from high-density rock wool and a perforated acoustic underside with a black, mass-dyed finish.
Being compliant with the fire requirements for Public Buildings, Rexolatte panels are perfectly suited to this rehabilitation.
To adapt to the technical constraints of the site and the wishes of the client, the company MCE Perchadec, which recommended this two-in-one thermal and acoustic insulation solution, installed more than 700 panels, 4,60 m long and 80 cm wide, perpendicular to the direction of the slope of the metal frame.
