The German manufacturer will also be presenting its new building control systems at the Batimat trade fair.

Lamilux, German manufacturer

Lamilux will be present at Batimag 2013 (which will be held in Paris from November 4 to 8) and will exhibit its catalog products (skylights, domes, vaults, glass roofs and control mechanisms) as well as its new products. These include ecological zenithal lighting systems, which have been awarded the highest Passive House classification in terms of energy efficiency, as well as Natural Smoke and Heat Evacuation Devices (NSHEVs) and control mechanisms.

Among the vertical lighting solutions, Lamilux will highlight two products that have received the highest possible certification in terms of energy efficiency, issued by the Passive House Institute: the "phA - Advanced Component" grade. These are the CI skylight system for zenithal lighting in PR60 energysave glass and the CI dome system element in FE energysave glass. These high-quality solutions will be of particular interest to designers and builders of low-energy houses. In addition to the skylight, Lamilux will present an insulation solution adapted to its crosspieces and rafters; this allows the crosspiece and insulation block to be combined into a single element. This issue has also been the subject of particular attention for the FE energysave dome, since its frame has a high degree of airtightness, giving it perfect insulation. Its external cladding is separated from the framing profiles by means of a thermal insulation mechanism. The whole unit has a triple layer of sealing between the frame and the curb, for a 100% waterproof closure.

Finally, Lamilux will be showcasing its latest developments in automatic building control during the Batimat workshops. These mechanisms control vertical lighting systems, as well as shading and light redirection solutions and ventilation dampers, products designed and marketed by Lamilux. These control mechanisms ensure building safety and energy efficiency for maximum comfort. They provide electrical and mechanical interconnections between the control and the automatic activation of DENFCs, as well as any mobile, remotely controlled roof or facade element.
