Natural smoke and heat exhaust systems (NSHEVs) are an essential element of fire protection for industrial and office buildings. LAMILUX, a manufacturer of high-end NSHEVs and skylights, has developed a new exhaust system for flat roofs. In the event of a fire, its large surface area ensures effective evacuation of toxic fumes.

The zenithal lighting element CI LAMILUX TWIN Smoke Evacuation System has a double flap. Its large smoke evacuation surface of up to 9 m² (Ageo) guarantees increased safety in the event of a fire. This highly flexible system adapts to the characteristics of each building in 5-centimeter increments.  

Outstanding sealing

The double valves are made without thermal bridge for greater energy efficiency. Its double peripheral sealing system guarantees a good air and water tightness, confirmed by the tests of infiltrometry (Blower-Door) and of index of rain driven by the wind (Driven-Rain-Index) .

The integration of synthetic glazing finally allows for additional heat and energy savings (Ug up to 1,2 W/(m²K). Many other glazings can also be fitted to the CI TWIN Smoke Evacuation SystemThis DENFC system, classified as a "rigid roof", is fireproof and guarantees effective sound insulation. In the open position, the system is equipped with fall protection.
