The Knauf Training Center (77) and the Knauf Insulation SchoolTM (65) are CERTIBAT® certified

Double CERTIBAT® certification for Knauf and Knauf Insulation

Respectively received in April and July 2014, the CERTIBAT® certifications of the Knauf Bâtiment and Knauf Insulation training establishments reward the Group's historic efforts in supporting its customers.

I At the origin of the concept of “Shared experience” and having been its spokesperson for 16 years, Knauf Bâtiment provides numerous courses, in companies, online with its dedicated e-learning service and within its historic center in Saint-Soupplets (77).

This Knauf Training Center welcomes nearly 1.000 trainees per year.
Alternating between theory and practice, the modules offered cover a wide range of areas of intervention such as envelope insulation, fitting out, finishing work or even sales assistance. For a perfect adaptation, these modules are available in a specific version for each audience: specifiers and design offices, distributors and traders, craftsmen and building professionals, but also students of vocational high schools, apprentices in CFA, teachers and trainers.

I Based in Midi-Pyrénées in Lannemezan (65), the Knauf Insulation SchoolTM offers training primarily for tradespeople and companies in the construction industry. In response to the challenges of changing regulatory environments, its goal is to support these professionals in learning new construction systems related to insulation.

With a theoretical but above all practical approach, the Insulation SchoolTM offers the opportunity to learn or perfect new implementation techniques such as ITE, insufflation or blowing...

Thanks to a technical platform of more than 700 m2 distributed in the form of boxes dedicated to the different current construction systems, the trainees find themselves in real working conditions to study and carry out assemblies in situ, and to experiment with new construction processes. These practical implementation applications allow them to work individually or in groups on a specific project.

Modules to train companies in overall building insulation

In perfect harmony with the major trend of Energy Efficiency, Knauf and Knauf Insulation are combining their expertise to offer access to common modules, which will be delivered starting this November 2014 in both Saint-Soupplets and Lannemezan. The program: a comprehensive and advanced approach to insulation in the different solution variants: mineral wool, polystyrene or polyurethane, for walls, floors and attics.

A trade must obviously prescribe insulation solutions adapted to each project but must not forget to direct it towards the additional equipment to be installed, even if they exceed its scope of action, and this, in a concern for the overall performance of the project carried out.", explains Jean-Paul Delamare, Head of the Knauf Training Center.

Pending the implementation of the new “FEEBat Rénove” module, Knauf is already offering its customers training and support in their RGE qualification process thanks to the partnerships set up between the two schools and an authorized partner organization. An approach "to respond immediately and positively to the expectations and needs of our customers. Knauf will not leave them by the wayside.", adds Jean-Paul Delamare.
