An exclusive GREE innovation, the GMV5 Photovoltaic is the first system to use directly The electricity supplied by the solar panels to power the compressor inverter and any excess or shortfall in current are managed automatically.

This technology allows you to utilize up to 99% of the energy generated by photovoltaic solar panels, thanks to the integrated regulator/inverter, which is up to 5% or even 8% more efficient than external inverters. The system can operate exclusively on photovoltaic energy or be connected to the grid to provide backup power when needed. Furthermore, if the installation allows, it is possible to transfer any excess energy generated directly to the grid.

Switching between modes is automatic and virtually instantaneous (from 2,6 to 10 ms depending on the mode), thus avoiding any energy loss. The power factor is around 99%, with a harmonic distortion of less than 4%.

A Maximum Power Tracking Technology (MPPT) allows for 98% automatic use of photovoltaic energy. Since the VRF system operates primarily at partial load, the energy requirement is relatively low and can be largely met by photovoltaics.
