The carpentry group MAUGIN has just been awarded a prize by NEGOCE/Groupe MONITEUR magazine.

1.500 m2 of exhibition space concentrated on 2 m2 : on June 4, 2011, as part of the Trade Trophies awards ceremony, MAUGIN was awarded the “Best Merchandising Trophy” for the innovation of its virtual showroom furniture.

On a surface area of 2 virtual m2, this 3D multimedia terminal brings together 1.500 m2 of physical exhibition or 6.000 PVC, Aluminum and PVC/Plaxed joinery products.

This ingenious totem equipped with an LED screen opens the doors to a vast showroom. Its panoramic tour presents the entire range of MAUGIN joinery, simulating all types of possible configurations, options, and finishes.

Encouraging exchange with the end customer, this powerful interactive piece of furniture allows distributors of MAUGIN ranges to present a comprehensive selection of solutions. Thanks to this infinite number of simulations, customers can project themselves in real time into the smallest details of their project.

To achieve this concentrated DNA, MAUGIN digitized and then reconstructed in 3D the 6.000 products offered in its catalog. Thus, its new merchandising concept benefits from stunningly realistic animation techniques.

The 3D animation engine is combined with a wireless joypad that allows you to present products from all angles and in the smallest details, observe their kinematics, obtain an exploded view of a product and its components, etc.

To further increase realism, each animation is coupled with sound taken from the original product.

An interface allows you to save the different configurations chosen and to switch from one basket to another to compare their aesthetic appearance.

This 3D showroom is updated automatically, integrating the latest product developments in the MAUGIN range in real time.
