A seamless, stable and accessible shower

In recent years, the floor-level shower has found its place in the bathroom. In 2006, when manufacturer Bette launched the very first floor-level shower tray made of glazed steel, tiles were the only solution on the market for shower accessibility. With its ultra-flat BetteFloor shower tray, Bette has set new standards. Accessible for people with limited mobility, seamless, stable, and with a centered drain, BetteFloor is celebrating its tenth anniversary.

BetteFloor succeeded the shower trays previously called flat, extra-flat or even super-flat. “These products were an extension of the bathroom floor with Bette solutions,” describes Sven Rensinghoff, marketing director of the German company. This new range has taken the walk-in shower to the highest level of aesthetics.

The shower as an extension of the floor

Vitrified steel is a traditional material for manufacturing bathtubs, showers, and sinks. Bette has acquired unique expertise and unparalleled technical mastery in this field. The German manufacturer also offers a thirty-year warranty on this robust, easy-to-maintain, and long-lasting material.

BetteFloor was born in 2006 with eight formats and is now available in forty-two standard and custom dimensions. In 2012, Bette added the off-center drain. The drainage then leaves the center of the tray for the side: the BetteFloor Side shower tray is born.

A ground-level solution for a new space

The flush-mounted shower tray made of glazed steel is now a well-established feature in bathrooms. It's now easy to design open-plan bathrooms and position the shower freely. With no curb, the shower is suitable for people with limited mobility. This solution even creates a sense of space in small bathrooms.

For greater creative freedom when planning the bathroom, Bette has developed twenty-two matt colors adapted to new trends in bathroom tiling. The shower appears in white, in a contrasting color, or blends in with the color of the floor.

Perfect sealing

The well-thought-out mounting system guarantees quick and leak-proof installation. BetteFloor has practically right angles which correspond perfectly to the pattern of the tiles for an exact installation at ground level. Unlike rounded corners, the silicone seal is therefore reduced to the strict minimum: an aesthetic and technical advantage.
