For the second consecutive year, the CGPME (French General Confederation of Employment) organized the Planètes d'Or (Golden Planets) awards to recognize five innovative companies. This year, Cadiou Industrie was among the lucky winners thanks to its recruitment method, which is no longer based on studies or diplomas, but on each candidate's desire and abilities. This method, developed with Pôle Emploi (French Employment Agency), has already borne fruit.

CADIOU INDUSTRIE wins the “Golden Planet of Employment 2010” trophy

To reward five companies that have particularly distinguished themselves through their careers, their innovations, and the quality of their products and services, the CGPME (French General Confederation of Employment) has launched, for the second consecutive year, its major national competition, "Les Planètes d'Or." CADIOU INDUSTRIE, the Breton company specializing in the manufacture of gates and fences, has just won the EMPLOYMENT trophy for 5.

The awards ceremony took place on June 15th at the Palais des Congrès in Paris during the Planète PME trade show, hosted by Corinne RIEBER, editor-in-chief of the business website "laformationpro.com", in the presence of the 5 winners, partners and the President of the 2010 Planètes d'Or jury, Bruno FUSH.

CADIOU INDUSTRIE (executives pictured right) was selected by the French Employment Agency (Pôle Emploi) from among numerous French SMEs for its innovative recruitment approach. Its approach: "no resume" recruitment, implemented in collaboration with the Pôle Emploi.

Commitment and proximity

"Resume-free" recruitment, or more technically, "simulation-based recruitment," is a new, simple and effective method that allows candidates to move beyond the usual selection criteria of qualifications, experience, and resumes. It promotes access to employment for young people and combats discrimination of all kinds.

The only criteria considered are the candidates' skills and motivation. Once integrated, the new employee is supported by a tutor who allows them to assimilate the gestures and procedures applied in the company.

Thanks to this method, the company Cadiou Industrie has hired 65 new employees and completed 12 permanent contracts since January 2010.
