The 55th Janus Ceremony

The Janus de l'Industrie, a label awarded since 1953 by the French Institute of Design, rewards products designed, from their inception, to provide real benefit to the user.

From the DS 19 to the Twingo, from the Campingaz cornflower to the Fluokids toothbrush, nearly 1 creations compete in creativity to improve our quality of life and have been awarded prizes for this.

It was under the high patronage of Christine Lagarde, in the presence of Frédéric Lefèbvre, Secretary of State for Trade, Crafts, SMEs, Tourism, Services, Liberal Professions and Consumer Affairs, Pierre Lellouche, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and Anne-Marie Sargueil, President of the French Institute of Design, that the 55th Janus awards ceremony took place at the Palais d'Iéna, headquarters of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council.

The award-winning Sirius Home

Thirty-three winners were awarded their prizes. Nine of them received the "ecodesign" distinction.

For the first time in its history, the French Design Institute has awarded the Janus de l'Industrie and the ecodesign distinction to a heating circulator: the Siriux Home.

The jury's words sum up the qualities associated with this product: "The presentation of a competing product allowed us to see the step taken by Salmson Pumps, very advanced in their high technology and their thinking about use."

The Sirius Home, a concentrate of performance

Designed by Salmson, a major player in the field of pumps and pumping systems, the Siriux Home combines aesthetic qualities with exceptional energy performance.

Thanks to a new "ECM" motor design and variable speed control, its performance exceeds the requirements of the ErP Directive. The Siriux Home thus offers up to 90% energy savings compared to a traditional circulator.

The Siriux Home was designed with information in mind for both individuals and professionals.

In fact, in order to make the user aware of the electricity consumption of a circulator, the Siriux Home displays its electricity consumption in real time and its cumulative consumption since it was started.

Professionals will appreciate the simplicity and precision of the adjustment parameters, thanks to this intuitive communication interface, allowing them to optimize energy costs, depending on the type of installation (heating, underfloor heating).
