The internal water networks of the Pacific Tower at La Défense secured by Watts
Located in the heart of the La Défense district, the 55 m² building has been equipped with anti-pollution devices since its creation to prevent any contamination of the water distribution network. These protective devices, now obsolete, have recently been replaced with Watts hydraulic disconnectors.
The Pacific Tower water network is organized around different uses such as the supply of hot or cold sanitary water, the fire safety circuit, etc. To protect this large network of pipes, 8 new hydraulic disconnectors (compliant with standard EN12729) with reduced Watts pressure zone (type BA) with different diameters have been implemented:
- 2 of 200 mm for fire safety,
- 2 of 100 mm for the arrival of hot and cold sanitary water,
- 2 of 65 mm and 25 mm for the supply of softened water to the bar, kitchen and laundry,
- 2 of 50 mm and 25 mm for automatic watering and water mirror.
The Watts anti-pollution range thus guarantees optimal protection of the water networks of commercial buildings.
