 New suspended reversible systems

With more than half a century of experience in the design and production of radiant panels for the tertiary and industrial sectors, Zehnder, the leading European manufacturer, is innovating with a new reversible ceiling system made of plasterboardDesigned for heating and cooling offices, this system provides gentle, low-temperature heat from a large emitting surface. The heat, emitted by thermal radiation, provides users with a uniform temperature, regardless of the ceiling height.

The plasterboard panels are 15 mm thick, activated by PEX tubes ∅ 8 x 1 mm, with oxygen barrier. A 27 mm thick thermal insulation is factory-mounted on the upper part of the panel. The panels are available in 3 sizes (2000x1200 / 1000x1200 / 500x1200), and it is possible to mix the products on site for perfect adaptation to the specificities of the premises to be treated.

Zehnder 1m and 2m plasterboard radiant ceiling panels are designed to be easily connected, without network balancing. Their pressure drop is identical (2 coils for the 2m panel). The pressure drop of the 0,5m panel is half as low. Therefore, the technician only needs to connect them in series 2 by 2 to obtain the pressure drop equivalent to that of the other models.

Patented quick couplings for multilayer pipes with a diameter of 20 x 2 mm and for PEX pipes with a diameter of 8 x 1 mm are available as an option.
