Merck contractors protected against chemicals with new DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 F FaceSeal protective suit

Merck is a leading science and technology company in healthcare, life sciences, and performance materials. To protect its soil remediation contractors at its Gernsheim, Germany, site, it is one of the first DuPont Protection Solutions customers to adopt the new DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 F FaceSeal coverall.

This hooded protective suit with a waterproof design is made from Tychem® F, a durable and reliable material used for chemical protective clothing, combined with a proprietary high-strength laminated barrier film. It benefits from innovative features, including:

• a fitted rubber face contour on the hood integrated into the suit for a perfect fit to the breathing mask, without adhesive tape,
• integrated dissipative undergloves and socks,
• a rear opening for added security and easier donning,
• elastic at the ankles and waist for an optimal reinforced fit.

The DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 F FaceSeal coverall provides exceptional protection against Category III organic and inorganic chemicals (Type 3-B, 4-B, 5-B and 6-B).
