interclima+elec 2010: The exhibition of knowledge and know-how in energy efficiency
From February 9 to 12, the interclima+elec 2010 trade show will welcome more than 620 exhibitors who will present to visitors their technological innovations dedicated to improving the energy efficiency of buildings.
In addition to showcasing new solutions, Reed Expositions France has developed a comprehensive and diverse program of conferences and events. The goal is to provide professionals with the tools to address the energy challenges of today and tomorrow by promoting the transfer of knowledge and the sharing of experience.
In-depth and diverse conferences throughout the show
Creating a true "center of expertise" within Pavilion 7.2, the conference program is divided into 5 complementary formats:
"30 minutes to know everything about...": at the forefront of regulatory, economic and political news, short 30-minute modules will take stock of the latest advances in the Grenelle Environment Forum and all the measures that follow: Eco-PTZ and tax credits, new wave of energy saving certificates, RT 2012, issues related to the safety of photovoltaic installations, etc.
"And tomorrow, what technologies?": presentations of technological innovations will allow visitors to discover energy efficiency solutions for 2015-2020: organic solar cells, flexible thin-film cells, fuel cells, micro-cogeneration, thermodynamic water heaters, etc.
"Les Rendez-Vous Architecture + Efficacité Energétique": in line with the Energy Performance + Architecture Award, architects will express their vision of energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings, by presenting some of their projects
"They did it, why not you?": exemplary achievements will be presented in the form of round tables bringing together several stakeholders: Design Offices, Architects, Installers and even Project Owners. These interventions will cover all the trades of the show, all types of buildings (commercial, residential, industrial, etc.) and will address both new construction and renovation;
"Meeting with...": authorities, presidents of professional organizations, representative figures or "reference" experts in their field will be interviewed live on the conference sets.
Home automation and solar photovoltaics, key themes of the show, are addressed through these different formats.
The Home Automation Integrators Forum: a day of discussions and debates on home automation
Held on February 10th as part of the smarthome trade show, the Integrators' Forum is a day of discussion and debate dedicated to professionals in the home automation industry. Through interactive workshops, visitors will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of the evolution of their business and the future of their profession.
In addition to a comprehensive overview of the market, its trends and developments, numerous themes will be covered, including: home automation and energy efficiency, the software environment for home automation specialists, raising awareness among architects about home automation, training and ensuring effective technological monitoring, synergies between electricians and integrators, etc.
The morning is dedicated to experienced integrators. The afternoon is more broadly open to all professionals interested in home automation.
Trophies rewarding excellence
Professionals (specifiers, installers, integrators, young apprentices, etc.) whose exemplary expertise is recognized in their approach to their profession and in the implementation of their know-how, will be honored:
Presentation of the 3rd Energy Performance + Architecture Award: created in 2006, this prize aims to reward an internationally renowned architect for the consideration of the energy performance of buildings in their projects and for their contribution to the fight against global warming. Winner of the 2010 edition for his bold and non-conformist architecture, the American Thom Mayne will receive his award on February 9, at 11:30 a.m. On this occasion, he will present the two projects for which he received the award: the construction of the new Federal Building in San Francisco and the
41 Cooper Square, Cooper Union's new academic center in New York.
Smarthome Awards 2010: A competition organized in partnership with Electricien Top Plus magazine and Domoconsulting, the Smarthome Awards recognize installers, home automation specialists, and integrators who have proposed exemplary home automation projects. From the sixty applications submitted, the jury made its selection based on criteria related to the quality of the integration, the cross-functionality of the project, and the electrician's expertise. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 11 at 17 p.m.
The interclima+elec 2010 exhibition will also host partner events
The Internet Awards ceremony: for the fourth time, Xpair, Groupe Moniteur, and Journal du Chauffage are joining forces to organize this award, dedicated to the best websites of manufacturers and companies present at the show. The ceremony to announce the winners will take place on Tuesday, February 4 at 9:18 p.m.;
The 2010 AFCE Trophy Award ceremony: a BTS Refrigeration and Air Conditioning class will be recognized for the design of large-scale refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems, while minimizing the energy and environmental impact of the equipment. The class will receive its award on Wednesday, February 10 at 18:30 p.m.
The Installer Awards ceremony: organized by the newspaper L'Installateur, these awards recognize heating and sanitation professionals for their exemplary achievements. A "Women in the Profession" prize will be awarded to women holding technical or administrative positions in plumbing and heating companies, and all awards will be presented on Thursday, February 11 at 12 p.m.
