CHRYSO's "aesthetic concrete" offering attracts interest at the 2011 Mayors' Fair

CHRYSO, a provider of sustainable construction solutions, presented its "Aesthetic Concrete" product range to local elected officials. To best support local authorities in their projects, CHRYSO showcased its innovations.

With its wide range of decorative concretes, CHRYSO offers solutions tailored to urban developments, such as deactivated concrete and beautification products, to ensure the quality, protection, and durability of concrete. This offering is supported by a dedicated team consisting of a market manager, an R&D platform (engineers and technicians), and aesthetic concrete development managers (RDBE).

Eager to use products that respect people and the environment for their construction projects, local elected officials are stepping up their requirements, and the Mayors' Fair provided an opportunity for quality discussions on the subject.

They thus discovered CHRYSO®Deco Brush the first deactivating emulsion that can be removed by dry brushing, requiring no water and eliminating discharges into the environment, as dry residues are, in fact, vacuumed up. A solution that meets the needs of HQE (High Environmental Quality) construction sites.
CHRYSO®Deco Brush was also successfully used in the spring of 2011 for the construction of 650 m long pedestrian walkways located in the forest area of the Madrillet Technopôle in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray (76). The project owner, the Rouen-Elbeuf-Austreberthe Urban Community (CREA), was looking for a solution that avoided using water to wash the deactivator from decorative concrete floors.

The offer of colorants CHRYSO®Color The technique for mass-tinting concrete also caught the attention of visitors, particularly due to the ability of the CHRYSO laboratory to recreate the shades of materials. This expertise makes it possible, for example, to imitate the colors and textures of local stones, a determining criterion for the construction of public buildings.
