OPPBTP at a conference on Expoprotection
What is mechanical vibration in the construction industry? How can you assess the impact of daily exposure on your health? How can you protect yourself from all risks?
Here are the topics discussed by two OPPBT experts on Thursday, November 4 at Paris Nord Villepinte Hall 5.

Bernard Bibollet and Patrick Goulvestre, respectively project manager for lifting machines and equipment and project manager for signaling, road works, networks and pipelines, at the Technical Department of OPPBT, will speak on November 4 from 14 p.m. to 14:45 p.m., at the Expoprotection trade fair for a conference entitled:
“Exposure to mechanical vibrations in the construction industry”.
Indeed, workers who use vibrating tools or mechanical systems and drive motorized vehicles or machines are subjected to vibrations that impact the entire body or part of it, particularly the upper limbs.
The effects of vibration depend on several factors which can be aggravated by the duration of daily exposure.
Thus, the presentations of our two experts will help define what vibrations are and help participants assess the daily exposure value. They will demonstrate that prevention is possible through technical measures or technological choices.
