MASTERIMPACT®-RH for exterior ceilings under shelter

In addition to the exceptional performance (solidity, hardness, dimensional stability, excellent resistance to humidity) of the MASTERIMPACT®-RH panels, the new MASTERIMPACT®-RH system for exterior ceilings under cover, has optimal qualities for an outdoor situation under cover (no deformation, rot-proof panel, resistance to pressure, UV, temperature variations, aging, etc.) entirely appropriate for applications on the underside of roofs, loggias, covered areas, lean-tos, halls, etc.

The ceiling system is made up of 3 inseparable components:

1. a series of MASTERIMPACT®-RH plates 9 mm thick and measuring 2,50 m X 1,20 m, with A2 fire classification,

2. a specific DONN® DX® Espace Rapid'Fix® MC fixing framework including: supporting profiles, spacers, PSS3 MC hangers, F6K threaded rods with IRO protection tubes,

3. finishing elements for the joints: glass grids and MASTERJOINT® coating to be applied before painting.

Therefore, this system is sized to meet the climatic requirements and regulations defined in the NV65 Rules.

Adapting the distance between the hangers allows you to adapt to the geographical areas and the exposure of the site as well as the heights of the plenums.

The mesh sizes of the supporting profiles and the spacers, respectively 600 mm and 500 mm, remain constant whatever the case.

Technical specifications:

- The frame elements are made of galvanized steel and overprotected by a layer of 70 µ polyester paint applied during production.

- The hangers are fixed to the bulb of the supporting profile and receive, in their upper part, the threaded rods, which are stiffened by an IRO plastic tube.

- Specific accessories allow the ceiling to be anchored under a concrete slab, or under metal or wooden structures.

- The MASTERIMPACT®-RH plates are fixed using HI LOW screws, which benefit from increased corrosion protection, which are screwed into the base of the supporting profile and the spacers.

- Edge profiles are provided to accommodate the plates on the periphery.

- Each panel has two beveled edges and is ready to paint. The joints will be treated by laying strips of glass mesh and applying MASTERJOINT® (ready-to-use thin coating), both of which will bond the entire surface, which can then be painted.
