Top rating for energy efficiency
The TRV4 thermostatic head obtains the TELL label
Eberle Controls, a specialist in temperature control systems, has achieved an A rating from the new TELL (Thermostatic Efficiency Label) for the energy efficiency of its TRV4 thermostatic radiator valve. This European label for classifying thermostatic radiator valves now makes it easier to choose the most energy-efficient products.
The Eberle Controls TRV4 achieved an A rating thanks to its ultra-sensitive chrome head. Filled with liquid, it reacts quickly to temperature changes to minimize energy consumption. According to the new European classification system, TRVs can receive a rating from A to F. “Achieving the highest rating for this label further strengthens Eberle Controls’ position in the French market,” says Werner Schuhegger, International Sales Director. “This energy efficiency, combined with popular features such as a sleek design, an all-chrome option, and highly responsive temperature control, makes the premium TRV4 a great selling point for installers,” continues Werner Schuhegger. The TELL label rating is based on three points: the TRV's response speed to changes in room temperature, its effectiveness in maintaining a stable room temperature, and its performance in response to changes in water temperature or system pressure. The label's rating is similar to the energy efficiency ratings used for many household appliances and other consumer goods, which are already well known to consumers. No draining of the installation The TRV4 features an elegant design with easy-to-clean surfaces, with no grooves that can collect dust and dirt. The step and half-step adjustments are particularly useful for people with poor eyesight. The internal parts, made of high-tech plastic, prevent sticking. They are replaceable and do not require draining the system, a time-consuming operation. The TRV4 is available in white/chrome and "all chrome". The standard M30 x 1,5 connection allows this product to fit most compact radiators and valve bodies. The new way to reduce energy consumption The awarding of an energy efficiency label is a voluntary process undertaken by the manufacturer of the regulated gas valve (RGV), and any valve that meets the basic requirements of the European standard EN 215 for RGVs can be submitted for energy assessment by TELL.
