Métalux: PMR solutions for accessibility and universal design

CENTR'AXE, a solution for new construction

100% standard and user-friendly, the CENTR'AXE is a mortise lock concept with a 300 or 465 mm backset.

Designed to accommodate any type of European cylinder, it is available in two versions:

- 3 points, it is then equipped with a beveled top and bottom bolt, a rectangular central bolt and the METALUX comfort bolt which improves the penetration of the bolt into the strike plate,

- 1 point, where it is equipped with a 1/2 turn deadbolt, a latch or a locking latch.

An additional safety feature, the CENTR'AXE with an axis at 300 and 465 mm is approved for 1/2 hour fire resistance for wooden doors and is available in A2P* version for the 3 points.

Also available with a 120 mm axle, the CENTR'AXE from MÉTALUX is an excellent alternative for fitting interior doors.

The 9948 PMR lock, a solution for adapting existing structures

As part of the renovation or reception of construction sites subject to a negative opinion regarding the conformity of housing landing doors with respect to accessibility criteria, METALUX has developed the 9948 PMR lock, a 3-point surface-mounted lock which allows landing doors already installed to meet this requirement. This perfect restoration of conformity is possible thanks to the installation of the surface-mounted lock on the interior face of the door, the central box of which has a 300 mm axle as standard.

100% compliant with law n°2005-102 of February 11, 2005, this palliative solution proposed by MÉTALUX thus offers the possibility for already installed housing landing doors to meet accessibility characteristics without architectural constraints.

Available in standard and A2P* versions, the 9948 PMR lock from METALUX is also available in three colors (black, white or gold) to match the existing decor.
