Doerken has launched Delta-Maxx Comfort, a roof underlay that provides better thermal insulation for buildings. It can be installed on both renovated and new buildings, providing improved wind tightness, reduced thermal bridge loss and therefore mold growth, and improved energy performance.

ROOF RENOVATION FROM THE EXTERIOR AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ENERGY BALANCE

DELTA-MAXX COMFORT, a unique insulating under-roof system on the market

Ordinary roofs are often responsible for 21 to 30% of the high energy losses in older homes. Renovating

roofs are therefore essential to improve the insulation of houses.

The Delta®-MAXX COMFORT, designed specifically for the renovation of sloping roofs

...is a highly vapor-permeable insulating under-roof screen that allows thermal insulation between rafters to be supplemented from the outside.

...is waterproof, windproof and highly permeable to water vapor: it combines the advantages of an HPV under-roof screen and thermal insulation.

The advantages in brief

- improvement of the thermal performance of the insulated sloping roof by up to 25%

- significant reduction in losses through thermal bridges which can lead to mold

- significantly increases the wind tightness of the house thanks to the integrated self-adhesive strip

- implementation directly in contact with the thermal insulation between rafters (HPV screen - R3)

- limited roof elevation, ideal for renovating existing roofs

- installation similar to that of a traditional HPV under-roof screen

Areas of use

- in renovation of sloping roofs to improve the energy balance (9% energy saving)

- as rain protection in timber-framed constructions

An example of the use of DELTA®-MAXX COMFORT, both screen and insulation, on a sloping roof construction site in Bourges

- roof surface: 157m2

- Slope: 35° and 80°

- Tile type: 32x22cm and 40x22cm

- Climate zone: below 900m

- Nature of the work: renovation
