Two-layer raised sheet for protection and horizontal or vertical drainage
Doerken addresses moisture issues with the DELTA®-NP DRAIN system, which protects and drains foundations and surfaces exposed to moisture. Two types of drainage can be applied: horizontal or vertical.

DELTA®–NP DRAIN
Humidity and water ingress against, on and under structures are among the main causes of damage.
Effective protection against moisture is necessary to ensure the longevity of a building, engineering structure, or underground construction. This protection is most often achieved with a waterproofing layer, which may not be sufficient.
The Doerken company wanted to address this concern by creating a raised layer intended to create a protective and drainage layer, the DELTA®-NP DRAIN.
Areas of use:
- in horizontal drainage
■ Green roof terraces
■ Roof terraces accessible or inaccessible to pedestrians
■ Parking lots with paving or slabs
- in vertical drainage
■ Buried walls
■ Berlin walls
■ Molded walls
Specific characteristics:
■ Creates a separation layer between the wet fill and the support
■ Allows runoff and/or infiltration water to be filtered and then drained
■ Allows free drainage into the blade
air formed by the growths
■ Prevents direct application of hydrostatic pressure to the support
- in drainage under paving
■ Advantageously replaces the classic drainage process (“draining hedgehogs”)
■ Serves as a formwork base and support for welded mesh
■ Is waterproof to concrete laitance
Technical characteristics :
■ Material: high-density polyethylene raised sheet combined with a polypropylene filter geotextile heat-sealed onto the raised areas
■ Material thickness: about 0,6 mm
■ Temperature resistance:
- 30°C to + 80°C
■ Compressive strength:
approximately 150 kN/m2 (0,15 N/mm2)
■ Surface mass: approximately 560 g/m2
■ Chemical properties: non-polluting for drinking water, resistant to chemical, bacteriological, alkaline agents and resistant to roots.
