In 2006, Jean-Paul Bureau became Vice President of Finnforest 's Transport segment and a member of the Group's EW (Engineered Wood) Board. His numerous responsibilities included managing sales in Europe, China, and Japan, as well as leading the units in Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Turkey; and administering Finnforest Spain from 2008 to 2010. He was also in charge of managing the sales team dedicated to the "transport segment" in Finland.
