Norba, Philippe Colin's early sponsor
Summary for decision-makers
Norba, a major player in the field of interior and exterior joinery, has strengthened its commitment to sport by sponsoring Strasbourg kayaker Philippe Colin since 2007. This partnership is based on the values of hard work, rigor, and commitment—principles that Norba advocates within its teams. Philippe Colin, having won his second world title in rowing, embodies this same competitive spirit, which is essential in both sport and the construction world. Drawing on his experience, he has also participated in several seminars organized by Norba, sharing his lessons in perseverance and anticipation with industry professionals.
The Atrya group, to which Norba belongs, is renowned for its expertise in industrial joinery, with numerous production units across Europe. With a turnover of over €320 million in 2009 and a team of over 1 employees, Atrya is positioned as one of the market leaders. Through its support for Philippe Colin, Norba not only promotes sporting values, but also positions itself as a responsible company committed to the development of less publicized disciplines.
World kayaking vice-champion Philippe Colin has been supported in his efforts by Norba for three years. This division of the Atrya group, a European specialist in interior and exterior joinery, decided to support the kayaker because he embodies the company's core values: dedication, rigor, and a commitment to hard work.

Norba's loyal support leads Philippe Colin to new heights
Norba (Atrya group) supports kayaker Philippe Colin
Strasbourg kayaker Philippe Colin has just won his second world title in the rowing race. A successful gamble for Norba, which has supported him for many years.
Since 2007, Norba (Atrya Group) has supported French kayaker Philippe Colin. A specialist in the supply and installation of exterior and interior joinery for large housing projects, Norba chose to sponsor this athlete because he embodies values dear to the company: hard work, rigor, respect for commitments, a taste for effort, and self-confidence. In any sporting or commercial competition, only first place is synonymous with satisfaction.
Like the Norba teams, Philippe Colin and his teammates put into practice the concept of "anticipation, work, and rigor," three principles that allow them to achieve their goals. As such, the Strasbourg native has already spoken at several Norba seminars to share his experience and compare it to that of construction industry players.
For Norba, this partnership is also an opportunity to support an athlete whose discipline is not as publicized as others, so that he can have all the means necessary to achieve his goals.
PHILIPPE COLIN WON MULTIPLE TITLES
After a sixth place in the K2 final at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the kayaker, registered with the Strasbourg Eaux Vives club, had no need to relaunch his career by winning the Poznan World Championships this summer in the K4 1000-meter category with his partners Arnaud Hybois, Sébastien Jouve, and Etienne Hubert. In 2009, the French K4 team had already won the silver medal at the World Championships in Canada.
Philippe Colin, 30, a member of the French team, is not new to this, having already reached the top step of a world podium on August 11, 2007 in Duisburg in the K2 category.
