New ATMOSEAL from ATMOS

Over time, plumbing and heating system fittings can rust, leak, or become blocked, causing significant damage. It's therefore important to ensure proper sealing of fittings when installing or maintaining these systems. However, this isn't always easy, as techniques can vary depending on the shape and composition of the thread.

To ensure a clean, easy, and quick seal for conical or cylindrical threaded fittings made of metal and synthetic materials, ATMOS, the plumbing and emergency repair specialist, has developed the new ATMOSEAL tape. High-performance and highly durable, this fiber-reinforced tape guarantees excellent sealing for pipes carrying water, steam, gas, compressed air, or diluted acids. It also allows the fitting or tap to be readjusted by up to 180° for perfect positioning.

Quick and easy installation

The new ATMOSEAL sealing tape comes in the form of a ready-to-use roll. Very easy to use, its installation is quick and easy:

- Degrease and clean the surface.

- Wrap ATMOSEAL in the direction of the thread, green side on the thread, covering it with
50% and exerting some tension.

- Adhere the tape to the net with your fingers.

- Tighten normally with a wrench.

Immediately effective, ATMOSEAL tape allows for pressure application directly after application.

A high-performance product that adheres to all surfaces

Effective and versatile, the new ATMOSEAL tape is ideal for sealing threaded connections in plumbing and heating systems. It adapts perfectly to the shape of the threads and adheres to all surfaces: copper, brass, galvanized steel, stainless steel, zinc, PVC, etc.

Tested under extreme conditions, the new ATMOSEAL tape withstands high pressures and temperatures:

For water connections:
Pressure up to 26 bars for cold water
Pressure up to 16 bars for water at 95°C
Pressure up to 7 bars for water at 130°C

For gas connections:
Pressure up to 5 bars
Temperatures: -20 to 70°C

A truly high-performance product, ATMOSEAL is ideal for hot water circuits, water heaters, heaters and spas... Perfectly resistant to hydrocarbons and various chemical products (acetone, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, ethyl alcohol), it retains all its adhesion performance and does not deteriorate over time. It can therefore be installed without any problems on pipe connections that contain acid deposits or that receive chemical products.

In addition, ATMOSEAL is certified as compliant with European standard EN 751/2. This specifies the requirements and test methods applicable to sealing materials for threaded connections in contact with 1st, 2nd and 3rd family gases and hot water.

Perfect positioning

Easy to use, the new ATMOSEAL tape allows the fitting or tap to be readjusted up to 180° in order to simply and precisely correct its position. In addition, with ATMOSEAL the fittings can be disassembled and reassembled without any sealing problems.
