New Optimal Lock Mifare® electronic cylinder: DENY Security combines security, flexibility and ease of use
With its new Optimal Lock Mifare® electronic cylinder, DENY Security guarantees seamless security for all interior assets without wiring.
Optimal Lock Mifare® is a European profile electronic cylinder with an interchangeable reading head. It features a new, ultra-secure patented clutch system. This cylinder uses 13,56 MHz proximity technology, which allows it to read Mifare Classic, Mifare +, or Mifare Desfire cards. This high-performance technology encrypts communications while providing greater data storage (recording and traceability of the last 2000 events), for increased security.
Equipped with a new electronic card, Optimal Lock Mifare® works in both offline and online versions (managing up to 3000 cylinders in real time). To accommodate the largest number of installations, it is possible to switch from offline to online mode without changing the cylinder.
Different locking hierarchies can be configured to limit access to certain periods according to 255 time slots. Cylinder programming is carried out using a master badge or transfer tool (notebook type) in offline mode, or via PC in online mode. Lost or unreturned badges can be easily deleted from the system.
Standalone or in a virtual network, Optimal Lock Mifare® is available in four models:
- cylinder with access control - free exit,
- double-headed cylinder,
- half cylinder,
- and padlock.
All models benefit from IP 65 protection allowing installation indoors and outdoors.
Without an electrical connection, the cylinder is powered by two batteries. It has a battery life of 100 cycles or 000 years (if the cylinder is not in use). In the event of a low battery, intelligent battery management triggers an alarm.
