New TERMOSOUDALLE REI panel from the Termocoffrage range by Knauf Insulation
Knauf Insulation is expanding its range of Termocoffrage rock wool panels for insulating floors at the bottom of formwork with its new TERMOSOUDALLE REI panel with lambda (λ) 0,034, designed for insulating the underside of floors.
Manufacturer of insulation materials made of glass mineral wool, rock wool, XPS (Polystyrene extruded) and accessories, Knauf Insulation offers numerous insulation solutions thermal and acoustic to meet all market demands in terms of products and systems.
Knauf Insulation completes its range of Termocoffrage rock wool panels, for insulation of floors at the bottom of the formwork with its new TERMOSOUDALLE REI panel with lambda (λ) 0,034 dedicated to insulation on the underside of floors.
THERMOSOUDALLE REI
The new panel THERMOSOUDALLE REI is an ACERMI-certified rock wool insulator with very high thermal (λ 0,034) and acoustic performance intended for insulation under slabs in residential or commercial buildings.
Compatible with car parks and ERP (Public Access Establishments), THERMOSOUDALLE REI is classified as non-combustible Euroclass A1. The panel has a fire resistance of up to 240 minutes (i.e. 4 hours under a 140 mm solid concrete slab).
Available in 60, 70, 80 and 100 mm thicknesses, its high thermal resistance allows for a reduced slab thickness, thus contributing to a lighter structure. In addition, the new panel provides excellent compressive strength. It is also available in thicker thicknesses (120,140, 160 and XNUMX mm).
625 x 1200 mm panel, installation of the THERMOSOUDALLE REI is facilitated by a reduced number of fixings. Only five hammer-in anchors are required for its implementation, saving the installer time when applying each panel.
Dedicated installation accessories
Knauf Insulation offers two separate fixings for under-slab insulation and for floor insulation at the bottom of the formwork:
- Iso Metal is a hammer-in anchor specifically designed for the installation of under-slab insulation (for TERMOSOUSDALLE REI panels). It is practical and adapts to flexible and rigid insulation up to a thickness of 150 mm. The Iso metal anchor is used in solid and hollow materials and is fixed with a hammer. Its aluminum and zinc alloy gives it great strength. Its M0 fire classification ensures flame resistance for three hours.
- Termofix is a steel anchor spring specific to the formwork base insulation technique (Termocoffrage range). To ensure a 30 mm hold in the concrete, Termofix is equipped with a hold marker. The Termofix anchor spring is suitable for fire-resistant structures.
Knauf Insulation Thermoforming Range
Knauf Insulation has a range of rock wool panels with high thermal and acoustic performance in lambdas 0,038 and 0,036 for insulating floors at the bottom of formwork or attached under slabs (collective housing, commercial buildings, car parks, public buildings, etc.). With good compressive strength and classified Euroclass A1, the Knauf Insulation Termocoffrage panel range is certified by theACERMI (Aassociation for the CERfication of Mmaterials Iinsulating materials). In the context of BBC projects, the range includes significant thicknesses of 140, 160 and 180 mm.
Definition of floor insulation at the bottom of the formwork
The formwork base insulation technique is characterized by time savings on the construction site in the construction of new buildings.
This technique takes advantage of the presence of the formwork table to apply the layer of insulation before pouring the concrete floors.
Rigidly insulated, the panels in the Termocoffrage range can support the weight of a person. This feature makes it easy to insert anchor springs directly into the panels placed on the formwork table.
Once the slab is poured, the springs are embedded in the concrete. When the formwork table is removed from below, the springs anchored in the concrete hold the panels securely in place.
