More power, more comfort and less dust

With the GBH 18V-26 F Professional, Bosch enriches its range of rotary hammers with EC motor with an ergonomic device, as powerful as corded tools.
In fact, this new hammer drill offers a striking force of 2,6 joules, i.e. 50% more power than the most efficient 18-volt hammer drill on the market, and is therefore comparable to a corded tool such as the GBH 2-26 Professional hammer drill.

The carbon-free EC motor has a lot to do with it because its high efficiency makes it a maintenance-free device with increased efficiency. This new perforator is available in 2 models: one with fixed chuck (GBH 18V-26 Professional solo without battery and charger) and one with interchangeable chuck, the GBH 18V-26 F Professional, which comes with an automatic chuck for shank drill cylindrical. They are part of the Flexible Power system and are therefore compatible with the professional 18-volt system from Bosch.

And to help craftsmen work cleanly, drilling without dust, while preserving their health and their tools, Bosch launched in May 2017 a new integrated and optional suction device GDE 18V-16 Professional.

Precise applications thanks to proven electronics from Bosch

So that craftsmen can work in a controlled manner during delicate operations, such as drilling into reinforced concrete, Bosch has equipped its new hammer drill with the KickBack Control system. In the event of sudden rotation of the tool around its axis of rotation, for example due to the drill bit jamming, the integrated sensor stops the motor in a fraction of a second. This measure prevents backlash, thus reducing the risk of injury.
The integrated Electronic Precision Control (EPC) system assists users with difficult drilling jobs in sensitive materials such as tiles. Once the EPC function is activated, The maximum power of the drill is limited to 70% and the ramp-up is slower.
The craftsman can work from the start in striking mode and save a working step. Any slippage when starting the drilling is excluded and it is possible to obtain precise results quickly and easily.

Ergonomic and vibration resistant

With the new 18-volt hammer drill, Bosch has redesigned and optimized the shape of its tool, enabling ergonomic work. The hand is now aligned with the drilling axis. This L-shape allows you to work with minimal effort.
Otherwise, It has an effective vibration reduction system : a damping element decouples the main handle from the drill motor, thus actively reducing vibrations, for fatigue-free working.

First Bosch perforator with integrated active dust extraction

To enable craftsmen to work dust-free in buildings, Bosch is offering the new 18-volt hammer drill with integrated active dust extraction for the first time. : If necessary, the GDE 18V-16 Professional dust extractor can be easily attached to the hammer drill. It has a clean motor powered by the tool's battery. The suction has an Auto Power On/Off function for easy and clean drilling. It starts automatically with the drill and continues to run for two seconds after drilling stops for optimal dust removal.
The integrated HEPA filter, which provides additional protection against dust, can be easily cleaned and emptied, like the dust container.
This Bosch 18-volt perforator also has LED lighting and a powerful 6,0 Ah battery. The GAL 1880 CV Professional charger fully charges the battery in 50 minutes, 30% faster than its predecessor!
