New Universal integration base for Bette shower trays and trays

With its new Universal integration base, Bette offers a specially designed installation system for its extra-flat and ultra-flat shower trays and countertops. The result is impressive: quick and easy installation and a completely waterproof installation.

The mounting frame is suitable for all Bette shower trays and flat trays from 2,5 to 6,5 cm, flush with the floor or raised with a tiled base.

« We wanted to offer a complete solution with great simplicity " says Sven Rensinghoff, Marketing Manager at Bette. This modular system consists of an aluminum profile with corner connectors and height-adjustable feet. It is complemented by a sealing kit, consisting of an acoustically decoupled profile, a sealing fabric, and preformed sealing elements for the sides and corners.  

Easy installation and waterproof installation

The profiles are delivered to measure, pre-cut at the factory. The installer only has to connect the corner connectors and profiles, then adjust the frame to the floor. On uneven floors or where pipes are present, the mounting feet move for optimal positioning. Thanks to easily accessible screws, the installer can adjust the height of the feet from above on the frame placed on the floor, even after pouring the screed or before installing the shower tray. This profiled frame provides excellent stability for the glazed steel shower tray. At the end of the installation, a sealing gasket is attached all around the supporting profile.

Effective protection against humidity

The tiler lays a waterproofing fabric before laying the tiles. This leaves a groove between the shower tray and the tiles, which will be sealed with silicone. This process guarantees effective protection against damage due to moisture infiltration.

A confirmed noise level of 20 db(A)

This new mounting kit perfectly meets soundproofing requirements. Tested and certified by DEKRA, the noise level in use is only 20 dB(A). It thus meets the soundproofing requirements of modern buildings (DIN 4109/A1, VDI 41à0 SST III standards, etc.).
