Clever and truly functional, this tape measure is characterized by its versatility, ensuring highly accurate measurements but also facilitating and making cutting plasterboard with a cutter perfectly safe.

A functional meter, ideal as a cutting or tracing guide

More than just a tape measure, which ensures measurements with an accuracy of 0,5 mm/m (class II), the PRECYTAPE® from EDMA Outillage allows drywall installers to perform other tasks. It can be used as a cutting guide to make perfectly straight cuts on plasterboard or simplify marking on wood panels.

Many drywall installers know how to cut a plasterboard sheet with a utility knife and a simple tape measure. However, this operation is often risky for the fingers and can cause workplace accidents on construction sites. To make it safer, the PRECYTAPE® features an inverted stop and a notch that allows the utility knife blade to be inserted. This stop protects the user's fingers during cutting. The tape measure's casing becomes a guide that slides along the edge of the plasterboard, ensuring a controlled cut to the correct dimensions. A second notch on the face perpendicular to the tape allows the stop to be locked into a screw head, enabling the creation of curved lines.

The PRECYTAPE® is a professional meter with a multitude of advantages:

- Its 30mm wide by 5m long ribbon is ultra robust and can stay straight over a 3m long overhang.

- The tape has double markings : horizontal on the front and vertical on the back. This allows for easy visualization of measurements in all configurations and positions.

- The shape of the stop is oval and wide to be able to hang on outgoing angles.

- A tape lock button, a belt hook and a wrist strap make the PRECYTAPE® meter very convenient to handle.
