An innovative composition for a lightweight screed

La OliMIXX® Green screed is a revolutionary, ready-to-use solution, integrating crushed olive pits, 100% recovered from the olive oil production process. These natural aggregates, carefully washed to remove any residue, are mixed with a hydraulic binder, fibers and adjuvants to create a lightweight screed with insulating properties. This unique formulation makes OliMIXX® Green screed an innovative and environmentally friendly product.

With 49% olive stone aggregates et 51% hydraulic binder, the composition of this lightweight screed allows its weight to be reduced by 55% compared to traditional concrete, while ensuring excellent thermal and acoustic performance. This lightness makes it an ideal material for use in apartment buildings and individual houses, whether for new or renovation projects.

Remarkable technical characteristics

One of the great assets of the OliMIXX® Green screed lies in its technical characteristics. With a density of 1000 kg/m³, it is significantly lighter than conventional concrete, while maintaining a compressive strength of more than 5 MPa after 28 days. This resistance guarantees increased durability and robustness, even under demanding conditions of use.

In addition to its lightness, the OliMIXX® Green screed has a rot-proofness, which gives it high resistance to humid conditions and attacks by microorganisms. This property makes it ideal for applications requiring long-term durability, sometimes in hostile environments.

Easy and efficient implementation

La OliMIXX® Green screed is particularly simple to implement, which is another of its major advantages. It is packaged in 23 liter bags and only requires the addition of 4,5 to 5 liters of water to be ready for use. This mortar can be mixed in a cement mixer or a mixer, guaranteeing a homogeneous preparation after a mixing time of 5 to 6 minutes.

Le smarter investing of the screed is also optimized, with 10 kg/m²/cm thickness, allowing the creation of layers of 5 to 15 cm of pattern according to the needs of the site. This flexibility of application makes it suitable for a wide range of projects, whether for small areas or larger sites.

OliMIXX® Green screed can be used in a variety of climatic conditions, including 5°C and 30°C, and is handled like a traditional screed. Common tools such as rules and the slaps allow for perfectly flat surfaces to be obtained. The application must comply with current standards, in particular the standard NF DTU 26-2, guaranteeing compliant and quality execution on construction sites.
