New Griffon - EPDM MAX Glue
The waterproofing pro
Construction professionals must ensure that the structure to be insulated with EPDM (roof, pool floor, etc.) is perfectly waterproof after gluing. To achieve this, they choose powerful, durable, and easy-to-handle adhesives. This year, renowned experts Griffon are launching a new professional adhesive, EPDM MAX, which bonds EPDM membranes to a wide range of substrates, providing unparalleled waterproofing. Resistant to water, moisture, and weather, Griffon EPDM MAX can also be used for repair work.
Solvent-free, the new Griffon EPDM MAX professional adhesive bonds and/or seals all European EPDM materials fixed to a wide variety of materials such as wood, metal, concrete, stone and rigid insulating foam. This exceptionally effective product is also used to repair tears in EPDM and to seal joints between EPDM and other substrates.
Superior technical qualities
EPDM MAX Griffon offers high bonding power (15 kg/cm2) combined with exemplary resistance to water, weather, UV rays and temperature variations (–40°C to +100°C). Quick and easy to apply to both vertical and horizontal surfaces, the product offers very rapid adhesion. After 24 hours of application, the glued elements are ready to handle, and the adhesive is fully set after 48 hours. Other advantages: EPDM MAX does not shrink or form bubbles.
Simple application instructions
The surface to be bonded with EPDM must be clean and properly adjusted. Before bonding, ensure that the ambient temperature is above 5°C and the humidity is not higher than 25%. The adhesive can then be applied evenly to the material using the cartridge nozzle. Once bonding is complete, stains and fresh adhesive deposits can be quickly removed using the adhesive remover available from the Griffon Cleaner range.
