NEW 2016 - TOOLS FOR CUTTING ROCK WOOL PANELS FOR EXTERIOR THERMAL INSULATION

External thermal insulation (ITE) is an effective process for correctly insulating a home while preserving the interior volumes. There are several solutions for ITE, adapted according to budgets and desired energy savings. The most common materials and methods for this insulation are polystyrene panels under coating or rock wool panels under coating or under cladding.

To simplify and optimize the installation of exterior insulation under coating (IESE) with rock wool panels, EDMA Outillage offers a new complete range of innovative tools. Efficient and clever, these products allow precise and effortless cutting of panels.

ROCK WOOL PANEL CUTTING TABLE

A clean and precise cut

The new EDMA Outillage cutting table offers considerable time savings when installing rock wool panels. Its precise cutting guide allows for effortless straight cuts, angled cuts up to 50° or bevel cuts from 0 to 45°. An essential ally for craftsmen and DIY enthusiasts, it can also be used to cut sheep's wool, glass wool, cellulose wadding or wood fiber.

This new EDMA Outillage allows you to cut panels up to 1,40 m high, 2,50 m wide and 26 cm thick. Made of high quality aluminum, its structure is very light with a total weight of 24 kg.

Furthermore, to withstand the weight of the thickest rock panels (reaching up to 30 kg for 26 cm panels), the rules supporting the panels have been reinforced with holding arms.

The new EDMA Outillage cutting table is supplied with a high-density plastic transport case on wheels as well as an insulation knife with a 30 cm long blade.

Effortless work

Manually cutting rock wool panels is a laborious task that can cause muscle problems or tendonitis when performed regularly. To prevent musculoskeletal disorders that can be associated with this task, EDMA Outillage has developed a new electric sabre saw with an interchangeable 30 cm blade: INSULACUT. Specially designed for cutting natural and mineral insulation materials such as rock wool, glass wool, wood fiber or cellulose wadding, this EDMA Outillage innovation offers precise and effortless results.

Very easy to handle, the new INSULACUT EDMA Outillage saw weighs only 1,5 kg, which makes work easier during intensive use.

The INSULACUT saber saw is delivered with a 14,4 volt lithium battery and its battery charger in a carrying case.

It adapts perfectly to the rock wool panel cutting table. The combination of the two tools allows a clean and precise cut, for a perfect junction between the panels, while protecting the health of the user.
