To last, this coating needs to be protected against traffic, stains and humidity. But often vitrifiers and oils enhance the color of the wood and strongly yellow due to the rise of tannins. For all those who wish to preserve the raw appearance of wood, Plastor, specialist for more than 50 years in the manufacture of finishes for the protection of floors, has developed a new range with 2 products for parquet, completely invisible: the Hard bottom and Bare Wood Effect Oil.

Made in France in the Jura region, these new Plastor Bare Wood Effect products preserve and protect the natural beauty of the wood, without warming or bleaching the original wood. Quick and easy to apply, they reduce construction site constraints for parquet flooring professionals.

PREPARATION

NEW - HARD BASE BARE WOOD EFFECT - Bonding primer

To ensure a perfect finish for light or raw parquet floors, the new Plastor Hard Primer Bare Wood Effect impregnates the wood in depth, blocks the rise of tannin while completely preserving its color to leave it with a totally natural appearance. This bonding undercoat is used in a system with all PUR-T® Plastor water-based sealers. It is recommended to apply it with the PUR-T®3 DUO matt varnish to maintain a completely invisible finish.

Ready to use and easy to use, its fluid formulation allows for uniform application without trace of rework. The new Plastor Hardwood Effect Primer provides pleasant working conditions for parquet flooring professionals. It dries very quickly, in 1 to 2 hours between coats, and does not require sanding. It is recommended to apply 2 coats of undercoat and 1 coat of varnish.

FINISHING

NEW - BARE WOOD EFFECT PARQUET OIL - Protects the nature of the wood

Completely invisible, Plastor Bare Wood Effect Oil effectively preserves parquet floors while highlighting the authenticity and natural feel of the wood species. In aqueous phase, its high-quality formulation deeply nourishes the wood and provides lasting protection for all new or old parquet floors against daily damage, stains and humidity.

Ready to use, this new product ensures complete oiling of a parquet floor in 1 day, with a single sanding between the 2nd and 3rd coat and drying time of 1 to 2 hours between 2 coats. This application without polishing allows floor layers to apply 3 coats in a day, a real time saver, which is appreciated on construction sites. With no unpleasant odor, this parquet oil, which releases only 25 g/L of VOCs, is very pleasant to apply.

Excellent protection for parquet floors subject to heavy daily traffic, Plastor Bare Wood Effect Parquet Oil gives them excellent resistance to wear and makes them easier to maintain.
