Cordless thermal knife and simplified hot wire cutting table

France's market leader in tools for installing exterior thermal insulation, EDMA Outillage, has expanded its range with a new battery-operated thermal knife and a new hot wire cutting table with a simplified design. These ingenious and efficient new tools make cutting expanded and extruded polystyrene (EPS and XPS) easier.

EDMA Outillage is launching the first thermal knife on the European market. Powered by a lithium battery, it offers great mobility during use.

CE certified, the new EDMA Outillage battery-powered thermal knife makes a clean cut through expanded and extruded polystyrene (EPS and XPS) insulation with a simple press of the knife's trigger. In just a few seconds, its blade reaches 350°C for effortless and, above all, dust-free work.

It comes in a storage case with 2 36V - 1,5Ah lithium batteries, a battery charger, a 200mm blade, a wire brush and a blade fixing key.

NEW SIMPLIFIED HOT WIRE CUTTING TABLE FOR POLYSTYRENE, SPECIAL ITE

Polystyrene blocks for external thermal insulation (ETI) applications must be cut as cleanly as possible to ensure optimal insulation. The new EDMA Outillage hot wire cutting table allows for precise and clean cuts, without any projection of expanded and extruded polystyrene (EPS and XPS) beads into the air . It also allows for easy cutting of polystyrene floor slabs.

This entry-level model, with its sleek design, has been simplified to be offered at a more economical price. Supplied with a 40 V / 200 W transformer (IP44), this new simplified EDMA Outillage table can be used horizontally and allows for straight cuts, angled cuts from 0° to 90°, and chamfered cuts from 90° to 15°. Its maximum cutting depth is 330 mm and its maximum cutting width is 1370 mm.
