New connected rangefinders GLM 50-27 C / CG professional

An anti-shock design for the most demanding sites

Ideal for the toughest construction sites, the new Bosch GLM 50-27 C Professional (red beam) and GLM 50-27 CG Professional (green beam) rangefinders offer improved visibility of the laser point, especially in areas with difficult lighting, and perform accurate distance measurements of ± 1,5 mm up to 50 m.
Another special feature is their extremely robust design. They feature a 360° reinforced rubber casing that effectively absorbs shocks, and an unbreakable screen with a highly durable silicone keypad. They remain intact even after drops from a height of 1,50 m onto concrete. IP65 certified, they are resistant to both water and dust.

Optimized user interface and extended functions

The intelligent user interface of the GLM 50-27 C/CG Professional rangefinders offers numerous functions. Intuitive, thanks to a selection wheel and large keyboard keys, using the device is even easier, even with work gloves. The various functions are displayed by symbols and keywords such as "Length", "Continuous measurement" or "Level".
Bosch rangefinders easily perform indirect measurements, area and volume calculations. Equipped with a tilt sensor, they can be used to measure slopes and act as a digital spirit level.

The GLM 50-27 C / CG Professional have new functions:

- Assistance to guide the user during their first steps with the tool by offering clear animations on the different measurement functions,

- Tape measure to simplify the reading of the different measures taken,

- "Big numbers" to take serial measurements,

- Annotation to measure and mark distances very quickly.

On the other hand, the new Bosch rangefinders offer maximum data readability thanks to a high-contrast color screen. It rotates automatically, as on Smartphones, to allow the user to easily read the displayed values in any position.
Furthermore, if the screen is out of view of the user, The GLM 50-27 C/CG Professional emits a beep and vibrations which confirm that the measurements taken have been recorded.

Finally, battery life has been improved thanks to 2 AA batteries and optimization of the hardware and software parts.

Easier data processing thanks to Bluetooth connectivity and the new Bosch MeasureOn app

Thanks to the Bluetooth interface, the Bosch GLM 50-27 C/CG Professional rangefinders synchronize with the new Bosch MeasureOn app, which merges the construction site with the smartphone. Architects, painters, electricians, facade specialists, etc. can quickly and easily create documentation, create quotes, calculate material requirements, the surface area of rooms and walls, the installation of fixing elements, adjust plans, etc. A real time saver!

In fact, the work is more efficient because recorded measurements and collected information can be transferred directly to the app and further processed. Everything is archived in one place, a digital workspace, to have a better overview of all projects. The user can organize information according to their needs and quickly share data and documents with clients, colleagues, etc.

With the MeasureOn app, measurements can be added to photos, plans organized by room can be drawn quickly and intuitively with one finger, photos and notes can be combined in a single view... The application then automatically calculates floor areas, wall areas, and room surface areas. Manual transmission errors are eliminated by transferring digital data, as are errors related to illegible notes.

Free and downloadable from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, The MeasureOn app is compatible with all Bosch connected laser distance meters. Data stored in the app can be saved to the cloud so that information is automatically available on all the user's devices (tablet, smartphone, PC), regardless of where they are (construction site, office, home, etc.). The cloud is accessible on the application's dedicated website via all internet browsers. A Bosch ID provides access to all Bosch digital services.
