NEW WAVIN FLEXIUS BAO HEAT TRANSFER PIPES
Reliable and durable, the new generation of Wavin Flexius BAO polybutylene pipes now incorporates an Anti-Oxygen Barrier. It prevents the development of sludge in closed underfloor heating circuits, thus ensuring proper long-term operation. Usually placed on the outer periphery of the pipes, the BAO is here integrated into the heart of the pipe structure, protecting it from any damage related to construction site hazards and guaranteeing its performance. Thus, there is no risk of degradation of the BAO during installation, guaranteeing it an optimal lifespan.
A PROTECTIVE ANTI-OXYGEN BARRIER AT THE HEART OF THE STRUCTURE
Available in several lengths, the new Wavin Flexius BAO tube coils meet the needs of all sizes of underfloor heating and cooling projects. Their great flexibility inspired the name of this new generation of Wavin Flexius BAO tubes, which facilitate the creation of floor loops, whatever the installation conditions: cold, confined spaces, no tight installation, etc.
Highly resistant to the test of time, these heat transfer tubes are naturally inert to corrosion, impacts and crushing. They benefit from a Technical Opinion and the Quality for Building (QB) certification from the CSTB. Furthermore, in a sustainable development approach, Wavin is working on a program to reuse the offcuts from the implementation of Flexius BAO tubes in order to reintegrate them into the production of other products in its catalog.
