New ERP Progib Infinity for construction

In the summer of 2013, Progib customers were able to discover Progib Infinity, the new integrated management software (ERP) dedicated to the construction sector, which Progib had been working on for two years. The solution offers multiple advantages:

• a simplified graphical interface, for maximum ergonomics;
• native access to the database, enabled by the SQL language;
• remote access, using a “thin client”.

Thierry Poiret, head of Progib, explains: "With Progib Infinity, we have both improved the present and prepared for the future."

This "improvement of the present" thus involves the implementation of simplified and more efficient conditions of use of the software by the five hundred companies that use it:

• Native access to the database ensures its independence from the software. Simple and rapid exploitation of the database using conventional tools therefore remains possible.
• A modern and practical interface allows customization of the connection, allows display by cards, by lists, offers advanced search tools, allows to select several items and to move and sort them easily...
• A set of new options guarantees ideal daily use: possibility of importing and exporting data, easier application of the CNAPS tax to contracts, better management of temporary staff, dedicated reporting suite, management of company life via Excel, etc.
• The MyProgib web portal guarantees speed and efficiency in maintenance and after-sales service processes.

 “Customers who tested Progib Infinity this summer immediately understood the benefits of these innovations,” adds Mr. Poiret.

To "prepare for the future", Progib Infinity proves to be "the most open working base currently offered on the market". Indeed, this latest generation software package, named Infinity in reference to the famous software package developed by Divalto, was designed with the prospect of being able to evolve. The company progib confirms: "The use of the collaborative portal MyProgib in association with Progib Maintenance for example will very soon be enriched thanks to a new mobility solution under Android and by new components (such as calendars for example) which are much more efficient and more secure".

Last but not least, the software's advantage is its ability to connect remotely, as a "thin client," without the support of TSE and Citrix technologies. This allows users to use all of its features using a simple, secure Internet connection.
