New DUOXPAND ankle
The DUOLINE range brings together all the best technical characteristics in terms of fastening. Perfectly identifiable with their red and gray colors, the DuoPower, DuoTec and DuoBlade plugs in this innovative range are made from a combination of 2 materials that ensure optimal anchoring with high performance in terms of load value and safety.
The high-performance anchor in solid and hollow materials from the DUOLINE bi-material anchor range
Fischer, which is constantly expanding this range, is launching a new bi-material anchor for all construction materials, the DuoXpand. This universal, extended anchor is designed for fixing frame elements, joinery, etc. and ensures smooth transmission of forces in the materials.
In addition, it benefits from the new ETA-21/034 (European Technical Assessment) approval which guarantees safe holding in all materials.
Fischer DUOLINE: The bi-material range
The high-quality anchors in the DUOLINE range are made from a combination of soft and hard materials. The proven operating principles, combined with the combination of two materials, expand the range of applications with a significantly higher load capacity than traditional nylon anchors and greater safety.
An all-terrain ankle
The new extended bi-material DuoXpand fischer anchor is designed for fixing wooden or metal facade frames, carports, joinery (doors, windows, etc.), wooden construction, kitchen furniture, electrical installations, etc.universal, it adapts to all materials : concrete, cellular concrete, solid brick, hollow brick, concrete block...
Gentle expansion that does not damage materials
The DuoXpand anchor consists of a bi-material body and a screw (countersunk or hexagonal head). The high-quality grey nylon main body (1) guarantees the strength of the fixing, while the red expansion of the slats provides additional security.
Its patented geometry (2) ensures smooth expansion in the building material thus avoiding damage the walls of hollow materials and allowing anchoring near the edge.
For secure installation, anti-rotation lugs prevent the anchor from rotating into the hole during installation.
The anchor is easy to install. Once the hole is drilled, it is inserted with a hammer. Screwing the screw into the anchor will cause the locking strips to expand. In solid building materials, the design of the dowel ensures equal distribution of the load in the support.
In perforated bricks, the lamellae expand at the level of the walls and create a form lock in the cavities.
2 versions to meet all applications
The DuoXpand with the countersunk screw is particularly suitable for fastening wooden elements.
For metal structures, the DuoXpand with integrated hexagonal screw and washer is more suitable because it prevents contact corrosion between the fixed element and the screw.
The expansion zone, with 2 anchoring depths, allows flexible use in all building materials according to the ETA :
• 50 mm in concrete, solid and hollow bricks,
• 70 mm in all other construction materials from concrete to cellular concrete.
Two additional anchoring depths of 140 and 160 mm ensure secure anchoring in the block.
