New high-performance adhesive for rigid PVC pipes GEBSOPLAST HT PLUS from GEB

GEB, a specialist in sealing products and the second largest French producer of PVC adhesives, is expanding its range with GEBSOPLAST HT PLUS, the first high-performance adhesive for both sanitary and technical applications.

GEBSOPLAST HT PLUS high-performance adhesive is suitable for PVC-C and PVC-U pipes. Eurofins certified (15 CLP NY 059), it is compatible with drinking water and can therefore be used on all pipes carrying water intended for human consumption. Formulated without THF (Tetrahydrofuran classified H351) or substances classified as CMR (Carcinogenic/Mutagenic/Toxic to Reproductive Health), this adhesive also guarantees the safety of installers by protecting them from any contact with hazardous components.

Versatile, GEBSOPLAST HT PLUS glue also benefits from excellent technical performance. Ideal for bonding rigid PVC pipes requiring high strength, it is suitable for assembling:

• tubes and fittings dedicated to pressurized water supply (drinking water, cold or hot),
• superchlorinated PVC (PVC-C) pipes and fittings for pressure, drainage and high temperature pipes (up to 95°C continuously),
• and PVC pipes intended for the transport of chemicals and acid fluids.

Resistant, GEBSOPLAST HT PLUS glue withstands continuously high temperatures, strong temperature variations, pressure (up to 16 bars for diameters less than 110 mm), shocks and water hammer, but also chemical products, acidic fluids and very hot washing water (dishwasher and washing machine drains).

Easy to apply with its brush cap, GEBSOPLAST HT PLUS glue sets in ten minutes and allows water to be refilled under pressure within 24 hours.
