Today, EDMA Outillage is launching the DUO TOP® onto the market, a new guillotine that quickly and precisely cuts all the metal elements needed for installing plasterboard false ceilings.

DUO TOP®: A SPECIFIC 2-IN-1 TOOL

FOR FALSE CEILINGS IN PLASTERBOARD

To facilitate the installation of metal profiles and threaded rods required for the installation of plasterboard false ceilings, EDMA Outillage already offers two exclusive innovations in its range that allow plasterers to save time on construction sites:

The PROFILCUT Guillotine, for cutting the rails and uprights forming the metal framework of a false ceiling, partition or plasterboard lining, in a single action, without any deformation or projection of steel filings.

The MINI RODCUT M6 rod cutter cuts M6 threaded rods without any deformation or projection of steel filings. This allows the fishplate to be screwed in immediately after cutting, saving considerable time.

The new DUO TOP® EDMA Tooling combines the functions and advantages of these two hand tools in a single guillotine. With this innovation, it is now possible to cut with a single tool:

- 48 mm rails and uprights for installing partition frames and linings,

- F530 furs,

- CR2 corner brackets,

- T-shaped hangers for false ceilings,

- M6 threaded rods and 4 mm diameter steel wires for installing false ceiling frames.

The combined action of the double-blade on the different dies allows for burr-free cutting of metal profiles, without sparks or any projection of filings that could injure the user.

High-performance but above all very versatile, the new DUO TOP® cuts F530 furring strips without any deformation, to easily insert the metal fishplate, but also the M6 threaded rods (max. capacity: mild steel 6.6 - 60 kg/mm²) neatly to screw them directly into the fishplate.

The device comes with an adjustable 545 mm stop, positionable for right- or left-handed use, ideal for cutting the same length in series. In addition, the DUO TOP® guillotine is equipped with an ergonomic handle for easy transport.
