This new wooden acoustic protection effectively and significantly reduces decibels.

In the form of an adjustable, aesthetic and contemporary fence, Nosound® absorb is less expensive than a concrete wall, easier to install and offers excellent performance thanks to its acoustic insulation.

A reduction in perceived noise of more than 50%!

The Nosound® noise barrier absorb So Garden reduces noise transmission by more than 50%. 

Laboratory tests (ISO 717-1 NF standard) have demonstrated its effectiveness with an Rw sound insulation index of 29 dB. 

In real life, this corresponds to a perceived reduction of more than 50% in noise.

Remarkable absorption performance

With its fine horizontal laths (on one side) and high density mineral wool, coated with a black geotextile film on one side for better fiber retention, the Nosound® panel absorbs effectively traps sounds. 

It thus offers excellent absorption performance with a coefficient of αw = 0,65.

A modular fence up to 3 m

Easy to install

Highly weather resistant and guaranteed for 10 years, Nosound® absorb is a modular fencean height from 0,6 m to 3 m, which can be cut to the desired length. 

It is made up of solid wood panels (Northern fir treated in class 3 autoclave), enclosing high density mineral wool, insensitive to humidity.

The Nosound® absorb noise-reducing fence is quick to install. 120 x 120 cm posts are fixed either to the ground or to a concrete slab using mounting plates. The wooden panels fit together and slide between the posts.

The H- and U-shaped posts allow corners to be mounted, and a finishing cover ensures clean and neat work.

Please note that galvanized steel reinforcements are required for any height greater than or equal to 2,4 m.

Positioning of the fence for optimal sound reduction

In order to obtain maximum sound insulation, the distance between the road and the fence must be as short as possible. In addition, the height of the wall is also important in trapping noise.

Good to know: 

Audible sounds range between 0 dB (hearing threshold) and 140 dB.

The pain threshold is around 120 dB.
