New Testo connected probes

To make it easier for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration engineers to install and maintain equipment, Testo is launching new compact connected probes for measuring temperature, humidity, air velocity and pressure, which can be controlled using a smartphone or tablet.

All measured data is transmitted via Bluetooth to the free testo Smart Probes app (Android and iOS), which allows changes in values to be visualized instantly in graphical or tabular form. These values are then documented in a report available on a smartphone or tablet and can be sent directly by email from anywhere.

Testo offers 3 connected probe kits that are easily transportable in a sturdy bag:

  • the heating engineer's kit (1 clamp probe, 1 differential pressure probe and 1 infrared probe) to measure and control all temperatures and pressures in a heating system,
  • the refrigeration kit (2 fluid pressure probes and 2 clamp probes) for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of air conditioning and refrigeration systems,
  • the air conditioning kit (1 hot wire probe, 1 vane probe, 1 humidity/temperature probe and 1 infrared probe) to measure ambient and surface temperature, humidity, air speed and columetric flow in air conditioning and ventilation installations and systems.
