Julien Toitures faced several challenges on this project. On the very flat 800 m² roof, it was necessary to cover the already resin-coated lighting fixtures, redo the existing fixings at the purlins, and modify the fixing line at the bottom of the slope because the roof deck was too damaged to receive a reliable fixing. To reinforce the insulation and waterproofing of the roof, foam closures - polyethylene low slope profiles - were glued and clamped between the old roof and the new one. Finally, the company chose to install the panels with a butyl seal to firmly bond the panels together and prevent dirt from rising.

Resistant to seaside corrosion

The polyester upper surface of the ONDUCLAIR RENOV ST ONDULINE system offers excellent resistance to chemicals in corrosive atmospheres. It stops the disintegration of the existing metal roof and thus increases its longevity. Effective, ONDUCLAIR RENOV ST provides good roof insulation and provides total waterproofing against water, dust and snow.

The ONDUCLAIR RENOV ST system is an effective insulation solution for the renovation of steel deck roofs. Installed without drilling on existing plates, the elements are very simple to install and ensure perfect watertightness for 10 years.

Available in 3 colors - dark red, slate and gray - ONDUCLAIR RÉNOV ST adapts to the specificities and measurements of the existing roof. Its very light weight of 3,95 kg per m2 avoids any overload on the existing framework and promotes easy and quick installation.

Many advantages

Whether for industrial, agricultural or tertiary buildings, ONDUCLAIR RENOV ST makes the structures sustainable by providing additional exterior insulation. It eliminates condensation on the underside of roofing in buildings with low and medium humidity. Thus, initial uninsulated roofs (cold roofs) are protected from climatic constraints thanks to this complete, multi-layer system (warm roofs). ONDUCLAIR® RENOV ST thus helps limit energy consumption.

Finally, these panels provide excellent sound insulation. Expanded polystyrene significantly reduces noise transmission. Its "shock-absorbing" effect significantly reduces impact noise.

Regarding reaction to fire, the upper surface of the ONDUCLAIR RENOV ST system has a B-s3, d0 fire classification. The expanded polystyrene insulation is Euroclass E.
