This new roof is intended to accommodate photovoltaic panels on its south-facing slopes. The asbestos fiber cement panels, having become too old, were likely to eventually pose a risk to the building's occupants and were not suitable for this new project.

ETERA was chosen to renovate this very large 17 m² roof. It carried out the asbestos removal from the entire site, removing the old panels, and then installing the new roof that will house the photovoltaic panels.

Insulating sandwich panels with a steel exterior cladding were selected for this project and, so that the interior of the building benefits from daylight, ONDUCLAIR THERMO translucent polycarbonate panels were chosen to punctuate the new roofing with light sources. .

The ONDUCLAIR THERMO sheet is made up of 2 parts: a polycarbonate or polyester sheet and a bottom sheet in cellular polycarbonate. Its transparency ensures maximum comfort inside buildings thanks to increased light transmission.

Available in many thicknesses (30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 150 mm), it allows perfect adaptation to the various metal sandwich panels on the market.
