Lighting living areas in a basement is often a problem.

To compensate for the lack of light in basement rooms, creating a light well is a

ACO English courtyards easily adapt to all configurations. Installation is modular thanks to a system of fixed or adjustable risers, which allows the height of the shell to be increased if the window is deeply buried.
Easy to install, the adjustable risers are fixed directly onto the English court, either on one or two fixed risers, thus allowing you to gain up to 82,5 cm in height.
ACO offers a complete range of English courses available in 40, 60 and 70 cm versions. But
in order to always be able to better respond to the multiple development requirements, the specialist in
surface drainage has decided to change the depth to 60.
This very handy format is equipped with optimized functionalities which have been the subject of all the
attentions from ACO in order to make them as discreet as possible, without giving in to the
stability:
- an ingenious sliding system allows the height of the hull to be adjusted to the nearest centimeter. It
simply turn the locking block 90° to be able to move the hull, from the top
downwards, over a length of 28 cm,
- the lower fixing shoulder, thanks to its guide block, ensures lateral stability of
the English court while also allowing height adjustment without the fixing screws
loosen,
- its reinforcing grooves provide additional stability against pressure from the
land and water,
- a trilateral slope on the inner face of the hull, directed towards a distant evacuation point
152 mm from the wall, provides better protection against moisture damage.
This new version has the advantage of further improving the robustness and watertightness of the structure.
